It doesn’t matter if you are rebranding or starting a new business, knowing and understanding the right colors to use for your brand’s logo should be a top priority.  Brand colors have a huge impact on the consumer and you need the right colors to help your brand succeed.

This is because most consumers use the colors as their motivator when selecting a particular product due to the visual appearance projected. Below are tips on how to choose a color that resonates with your brand that is not only relevant but also inspiring.

    Experiment

Different consumers prefer different colors depending and as a result, you need to try out various colors so that you find which colors your customers will love. To do this, carry out an experiment be selecting several colors, at least three colors that are relevant to your brand. Choose two main colors with a similar tone. Using more than three colors often dilutes the effect of your brands’ power and visibility.

Emotions play a huge part in a customer’s decision making. To emotionally connect with your target audience and consumers, come up with a mood board using different colors from images. You can also try out color palettes used by other brands using a color picker tool. This will give you an idea of the color schemes and the mood projected by your brand once you apply the same colors.

    Know your focus

Most brands with the best color palettes didn’t just wake up to find that these were the colors they needed for their brand. They researched for many months to determine which colors were vibrant and resonated boldness and confidence that lured their customers into loving their products.

Know your brand’s goals and how you want your consumers to feel the moment they see it. If possible, put yourself in your target audience’s shoes to help you settle on the most impressive colors to use.

    Consider checking out your competitors

Research various well-known brands or competitor websites and logos in your industry and look at the color schemes they use for their brands. This will help you to create your own unique color palette and decide which colors will stand out from your competition.

    Include an accent color

Choose two main colors that you feel are closely related to your goals and what your target audience would love. Having selected these two colors, pick one accent color that will stand out from everything else, including the elements and others you might have either on your page or website background. This accent color must stand out by being brighter and very distinct from the two main colors you previously chose.

With the right colors, you can attract more consumers to your page or website. Then go ahead and work on the marketing to convert your target audience from just being passive readers to loyal customers, engaged subscribers who will help you drive your brand’s sales and success. If you are not sure how to make a perfect choice, hire the services of an expert graphic designer in Houston who will apply creativity and Build your brand to ensure that it delivers your desired results.
