LG Signature OLED TV R
Ever wish your TV would just go away when you were done with it? You’re not alone. But gone are the days of TV cabinets to hide your television when not in use.
Thanks to LG, now your TV can just go away on its own. Welcome to the LG Signature OLED TV R, the first TV that can simply roll away when not in use.
The LG TV has a speaker-embedded base that sits nicely on your floor. At first glance, it may seem like a TV stand, but the magic is that the stand actually contains the TV.
It’s the perfect way to save space, and give off a minimalistic look while still having a huge 64-inch television in your room.
August Smart Lock Pro Door Lock
While a door lock might not exactly scream cool technology, it’s definitely making the idea of home security seem very futuristic.
This smart lock is compatible with most deadbolts, which means you can install it on your existing lock, and use regular old keys if you still want to.
The features on this are amazing. Not only does it have the typical mobile unlocking, but you can also view the lock history and receive notifications any time someone unlocks the door.
This lock is also compatible with most voice activated technologies such as Alexa and Apple.
The New, Improved Impossible Meats
Who said all new technology had to be a machine?
Impossible Foods created the closest plant-based substitute to a burger that most people have ever seen. And now with a goal to eventually replicate and replace all meats, they’re rolling out plenty of new delicious plant-based proteins this year.
Impossible meats cook like real meat, and can even be cooked to order at restaurants. If you don’t believe the hype, the truth is closer than you think. Burger King is now serving Impossible Whoppers. Try them side by side and see if you taste the difference.
Samsung Foldable Phone
You’ve probably already seen the ads for this phone. You may have already pre-ordered one. And you’ve probably seen the news that it’s been delayed for technological issues.
That doesn’t mean you still shouldn’t be excited about the foldable phone. Even if Samsung may have jumped the gun on almost releasing it, the phone will still be out by the end of the year.
More importantly, this opens up the foldable phone idea to other manufacturers, and soon we will be living in a world where phones look like mini books and everyone is living in the future.
Spigen Wireless Charging Case Powered by Ossia
Wireless charging isn’t a new technology, but it’s a constantly evolving one.
This new charger by Spigen takes wireless charging to a whole new level. Sure it’s nice to set your phone on a tray and have it magically start charging, but what if you could carry it with you?
The charging case is powered by a wireless transmitter that you can place in your bedroom, office, wherever you need to charge your phone. As long as your phone is in the case and within range of the transmitter, the phone will charge, no plugs or charging pads needed.
So whether you’re cooking dinner while scrolling through online recipes, or pacing around the office while increasing traffic for your website, with this case you can be mobile and juiced up at the same time.
Family Hub Refrigerator
Breakfast is the time when you’re getting ready for the day. So wouldn’t it make sense if the location of your food is also the location of your daily planner? It is now.
This AI assistant is programmed to recognize individual members of the household by voice and deliver a morning schedule. It can also be used as a household message or scheduling center to organize chores or leave passive aggressive notes for your dirty roommate.
And of course, the family hub refrigerator takes care of the food too by taking inventory, making shopping lists, and even helping with meal planning.
Yolk Solar Cow Battery Station
This is one of the coolest things we’ve seen. It’s a cow, it’s a solar charger, it’s going to make a huge difference in communities.
The idea is amazing and simple at the same time. A cow sculpture has a large solar panel on top of it. Inside the cow is a large battery, that in turn charges a bunch of detachable portable batteries. These batteries are the udders, and they hang beneath the cow sculpture.
While this is applicable to anywhere, South Korean startup Yolk has more humanitarian needs in mind. They plan to install these at schools in Africa. This will encourage children to go to school, where they can drop off their batteries. The batteries charge while the children learn, and at the end of the day, they bring them back to their families to provide power.
